Made the thread due to a heated discussion with a friend. Curious to th opinions of the forum. (Also a good way to put the matter to sleep given we couldn't agree to a winner)

Give the Marvel side some scraps.

They are the weaker universe after all.

This, Depends on a lot of factors. The feats of both vary greatly depending on circumstance.

Mordru for example has quite a few high end feats that centre on the fact of him absorbing and using the power of others (or his opponents). For example using the power of the ROE against and amped Shanzam. Most of his High end 30th Century feats are after he absorbed a lot of the power of Sorcerers world. Taking half the power of Infinity man, taking the power of the starheart, Dr fate. Killing and absorbing the power of Lords of Order and Chaos.

Now when you consider that Classic Strange defeated Dormammu in his own realm by doing exactly the same thing (absorbing power from the dark dimensions ) that is a way to defeat Dormammu.

Mordru has also been defeated the exact same way, drawing back the power he has drained, wresting ti back, and binding him.

Written the right way there really is no true correct answer and never will be. On power they are very near to peers. Pre COIE I would say would take a slight majority. Post however there are as many low showings as there are high. being defeated by a novice Amethyst who had absolutley no concept of the level of her powers in Mordru's own place of power screams out as one. Though to be fair this was shortly after he had taken over the form of a Gem world sorcerer (taking on mortal forms weakens lords of Order and Chaos) and was before he linked said sorcerers soul to the form as well to get around the weakening (or the bonding may not have been fully complete- it's been ages since I rad it)
