Darach stomps.

Darach got stomped in seconds by Apprentice Malgus, Drallig got stomped in seconds by Peak Anakin...how are these comparable at all?

Cin was the head if Temple Security, a better duelist than Shaak Ti, and was considered by Dooku to be an individual who could potentially defeat Grievous.
The fact that Anakin overwhelmed him like he did is a ridiculously superb feat on his part.

That said, since Vindician is pretty much featless as a duelist, it's hard to say exactly how capable Darach was. I'd assume, though, that this should be a fairly close fight on either end.

And Anakin beat Drallig in a Lightside nexus (excellent) while choking out a padawan. At least Malgus had to work for his victory, was going all out and it was after Darach had already fought Malgus and Vindican.

Not to mention that Darach has the undeniable Force advantage. Blasting Malgus across the room, reflecting lightning, tossing giant starship engines and smacking Vindican and Malgus back with the same Force Wave >>>

The fact is that basically all Drallig has to his name is losing badly to Anakin. Darach actually has impressive showings.

If Drallig was Ti's superior and could defeat Grievous, he would have held his own for a while.

He was stated to be the greatest lightsaber master in the temple during Operation Nightfall. Shaak Ti included.

Which doesn't prove he's superior to Ti, as Ti has superior dueling feats to him. His accolades don't prove his superiority, Ti survived her encounter with Anakin and lived on to fight evenly with Starkiller.

Drallig's performance against Vader was, quite frankly, disgustingly bad. I'm going with Darach just because of that.

The thing that makes me support Darach by a slim margin is his moderate showings of TK.

Drallig has zero force feats, and while he is more skilled his combat showing was more hampered by clones firing at him whereas we can see how well Darach performed against multiple opponents.

He should take a majority imo, Drallig's hype doesn't make up for his lack of showings

Darach lost to malgus due to fatigue. Darach that isn't tired out can hold his own against two capable duelists at the same time.

That being said Cin Drallig was by all indications, a very skilled duelist. Shitty lightsaber wielders don't get called battle master. And his best student was able to stalemate Anakin for a period of time.

I'm going to go with everyone else who noted he was probably running on full throatle to keep up with the two vs one, and was simply too fatigued when Malgus got a second wind.

Or that Malgus got a DPS edge by adding a second lightsaber which is the games attempt to explain MMO mechanics in universe.

Which they've done in other trailers.

Has having a second lightsaber ever *not* helped someone?


In real life, there's disadvantages, but frankly in SW it seems like everyone should duel-wield, with only rare exception (those that heavily use the force and need a free hand, those who use lightwhips, and those who use double-bladed swords).

My headcanon is that in technical aspect he was very very good, and he was a fantastic teacher, but didn't have a lot of force omph and only normal physical stats, so he'd create students stronger than himself.
