Does Marvel have anything in their mythology to counter the Kingdoms and it's avatars?

Swamp Thing (The Green)

Exactly what is a kingdom? What defines and makes you a avatar of a kingdom?

That line up looks...........sad. Do they have any feats?

MF DELPH
Pretty sure Mungi will come in here with some Shaman/Great Beasts scans and make you cry.

Yes. Brother Blood, ST, Rot, etc... were pretty beastly. Rot took control of DC earth at one point.

I'm talking about if Marvel has similar beings/concepts.

Some would be elementals. Does Marvel have similar characters that fit?

You wanted earth based.

Hmm...

Maybe:

Groot (Plant Being/Green)
Selene (Necromancy/The Rot)
Satana (The Red/Blood Magic)
Pestilence (Bacteria/Disease)
Man Thing (The Grey)
Death Metal (Metal)

?

*edit

Actually, Groot isn't Earth Based, so maybe Black Tom or Shaman.

IMHO, it would it be :
Set - Water
Oshtur - Air
Chthon - Fire
Gaea - Earth

Each of the Elder Gods represents an element and each of them has an object of power that is vital to the fundamental nature of magic in the entire universe. All of them were 'born' on Earth and to a degree are Earth based (despite having their own separate dimensions now).

Chthon has his "Flickering Realm" but also has a special connection to Wundegore Mountain on Earth.

Gaea has her own dimension, Avalon, but she is also the embodiment of the Earth (the planet not just the element).

Oshtur has her own dimension (seperate from the Vishanti), the Astral Plane, but she is also active in the physical universe.

Set has his "Serpent's Sea" dimension and he's connected to the trench in the Atlantic Ocean where the giant Serpent Crown is buried.

Nice list with the basics, but what about the others?

I'm still not understanding what qualifies you as a Kingdom Avatar to draw a comparison.

Elemental forces that have a deep impact on life (Earth and or Universe). These forces choose avatars as their champions. The Green chose Swamp Thing, the Black chose Anton, etc...

Examplers?

Good start, but I don't think they are on the scope of the Green/Rot, etc...
