I'd say Li Mu Bai. He's a pretty high up guy in a universe of highly skilled wire-fu fighters.

Pai Mei is definitely skilled, but he was clearly the top dog in a universe of normal people.

And no. They can't beat Sword and Snow at once. Nameless considered Broken Sword his equal. And Flying Snow was supposedly Broken Sword's equal. If she wasn't, she was pretty close. But he would have won that fight if he'd chosen to keep fighting back.

And Sword supposedly killed hundreds of guards when he first attempted to assassinate the King.
