This will be my biggest respect thread to date, so this one had been very challenging in terms of categorisation. I will be taking a tip that Philosophia showed me and enter all of my text in the centre and see how that goes.









I. The Origin of Exodus

The following scans show the origin of Bennet Du Paris a 12th Century crusader from France. How he became Exodus and what journey he had to overcome to be reborn. Along with what lead him to being locked up into a cavern up until present day.

Something to note from this is that Exodus when very inexperienced with his powers can still easily overpower Sersi in a telepathic battle.













II. Teleportation

In this part I will be displaying the various times Exodus has teleported or has teleported others.


Here we have Exodus teleporting from an unknown location to Wundagore Mountain to confront the High Evolutionary.

Exodus teleports somebody deemed guilty by Magneto, forever banishing him from Avalon.

III. Forcefields

Here in this category I will displaying the various Exodus has used for his forcefields.

Here Exodus creates a giant forcefield which he attempts to use to destroy the entire island of Genosha, which could kill millions of people.

IV. Psionic Powers

In this section I will be placing Exodus's most prominent feats with his Psionic power. Given that his entire power set is Psionic if I were to post everything he had done it would be quite long. So I have picked out the most essential parts (you will see most of the rest of them in the fights).


Exodus uses his psionic power to further increase Quicksilvers metabolic rate, which causes him great pain.

Exodus assaults War Machines mind which leaves him brutally assaulted mentally in an almost vegative state.

Exodus when new to his powers, is able to psionically overpower Sersi.

Exodus unleashes a huge psionic attack, which Thena states would have killed everyone in the room if she hadn't erected a shield, which she also says she is struggling to contain. As the more fanatic Exodus gets the more powerful he becomes.

Exodus uses his power to eliminate a Sentinel but not killing its operator.

Exodus can see that after Xavier was shot in the head by Bishop that he can revive him but to do so he needs to shatter Xavier's mind.

Exodus begins to kill a depowered Magneto with his power but is stopped as Xavier engages him in a telepathic battle.

In this scan we see Exodus controlling the motor functions of Fabian Cortez which allows him to control his bodily functions.

In the next set of scans we see Exodus do multiple things with his powers namely.

*Escaping from his prison on the S.H.I.E.L.D helicarrier by disassembling every nut and bolt.
*Then he makes what I believe to be quite a good quote.

"You could sooner contain the ocean in a cup Maria Hill, I am Exodus and I refuse to be contained"

*He is then assaulted by 3 human telepaths who he quickly shuts down like it was child play. With Maria Hill stating that no man could survive an assault like that.

*Exodus then begins to slowly disassembled the helicarrier, Maria Hill presumes he is destroying it. But he is in fact moulding all the pieces of metal together to create a machine akin to Cerebro.

Here Exodus hits Scanner with a Psionic blast with such power that not only does it make her astral form feel more damage than she had ever felt, but also her real body also.

V. Resurrection

There is only one time when Exodus showed that he was able to resurrect someone, that occasion was Fabian Cortez after he just killed him. Stating that Magneto wants him alive so he will slowly suffer.

VI. Telepathic Resistance

Here I will be showing the couple of times Exodus has shown resistance to telepathy.


On this occasion Professor X himself states that Exodus was able to hide his abilities from him, which meant that he was a Psi of the highest order.

And here Rachel Grey admits she is unable to look into Exodus's mind but she says she can stop him from entering theirs. Although Exodus reveals this wasn't his intention to begin with.

VII. Emotional Control

In one case Exodus was shown to be able to control the emotional states of the mutates of Genosha. Goading them into committing murder.

VIII. Fights

So hopefully if you stayed for the whole thread you will have now arrived at the fights section. For me this makes Exodus quite an interesting character. He isn't inherently bad. He believes he is doing the best to save his race and will protect mutants no matter what the cost. So you often see him holding back when fighting fellow mutants as he doesn't want to kill them. Anyways here go the fights.


Exodus vs War Machine

So once Exodus descends onto Earth he states his intent to protect the mutates, after Exodus leaves after conversation with the Avengers, War Machine attacks him and it's fair to say it was not the best decision.

Exodus comes to blows with Sersi, continuing from the last fight.

Exodus vs X-Men and Avengers

This is probably one of Exodus's greatest showings he ever had. He was taking on the whole of the Avengers and X-Men minus characters like Thor while simultaneously amping the fear of the populace and bringing down a huge forcefield to crush Genosha all at once. Eventually the team are only saved due to the plans of Cyclops and Professor Xavier. Not to mention Exodus accomplished all of this while holding a baby in one hand.

Holocaust is a being from the AoA (Age of Apocalypse) universe. Holocaust mistakes the 616 Exodus for his AoA counterpart and proceeds to attack him, what proceeds is an extremely destructive battle.

After this immense battle between Exodus and Holocaust, Exodus was left extremely weakened. In this time Exodus travelled back to the Swiss Alps where he had been locked away many years ago. He changed a lot. Becoming some sort of a psionic vampire feeding off of the power of mutants. When he senses the power of Nate Grey and Cable. He sets on a quest to return in full...


Exodus vs X-Man

As Exodus encounters Nate he begins to slowly absorb every attack thrown at him furhter increasing his power. Although when Nate discovers that Exodus has a link to Apocalypse Nate reveals his true power and locks Exodus within a crevice.

Exodus and the Acolytes vs Thena, the Heroes for Hire and Isotope E Quicksilver


Exodus starts the fight pretty evenly with Thena but soon Quicksilver absorbs the Isotope E and becomes extremely powerful. His speed is amped to unknown levels and he gains power possibly above even Magneto's.

Exodus and Brotherhood of Mutants vs X-Men

So Exodus and the Brotherhood of Mutants attack the X-Men at the mansion, with no visible victor Shen Xorn realises the only way to stop this is to open the black hole in his head. And by doing so, Exodus and the Brotherhood of Mutants are sucked up into it.

Exodus Telepathic Battle vs Professor Xavier

This was one of the more special battles Exodus featured in. He acted very strongly in his words while fighting Xavier, implying he was going to kill him. After Xavier ends the battle Exodus reveals his true plan, his real plan all along was to try and convince him to lead the Acolytes.

Exodus vs X-Men (Part 1)

Exodus after the battle with Xavier thought for a long time and decided that Xavier was right. Mutantkind couldn't survive divided and that for their to be peace among mutants they have to unite as one tribe, the X-Men refuse to immediately adapt and Exodus begins the battle. At the end of the battle Exodus is allowed into the mind of Wolverine and Rogue after reading their minds. He discovers that Cyclops has allowed Hope Summers, the so called mutant messiah into battle. Exodus is angered at this and declares that his mission is to save mutantkind and goes of to kill Cyclops.

A couple of things we should not from this battle is Exodus's durability, he can survive a punch from behind by a Kid Gladiator empowered Rogue and Wolverines claws without showing much physical harm.

Exodus vs X-Men (Part 2)

The battle begins with Exodus just after the X-Men jump out of the aircraft. Eventually it is revealed that Exodus is fighting Rachel Summers on the psychic plane at the same time as fighting in real time. As Exodus begins to realise the X-Men wont listen to reason he enacts a spell that puts them all under his control saying he will return them to their own thought once he has killed Cyclops. Luckily help arrives in time for the X-Men and they live to fight another day.

Exodus vs X-Men (Part 3)

In this final part of the 3 part battle the X-Men finally unite so to speak. And Exodus engages in battle with the mutant messiah herself. After a long battle Exodus reveals that his objective was to test the X-Men, he knew that divided they could not defeat him. But once they unite they could prevail. After this Exodus is teleported away.

Yeah it's a shame. He did appear in Uncanny X-Men #26 recently but he seemingly died.

Thanks, just a question. Does this respect thread give you a lot of info about Exodus. Like does it make you feel more knowledgable on the character. I try to make them as good as possible.

Thanks DarkSaint, like you said Exodus is definitely capable of a lot of things.

I don't think he gets a lot of credit on the forums to be honest. Hopefully this respect thread helps that.
