has anyone here ever had a henna tattoo done?

i've had...it's a piece of crap...

was that an actual tattoo with the whole needle thingie, or a HENNA tattoo?

I know people that have had them done and they did not last more that a couple of days.

I've had a Henna tattoo before and it lasted for about 6months! it was really effective.

when I first had it done I couldnt feel my arm for the next week, the henna saps all of the heat out of your skin1 it was like lugging round a chunk of ice!

I have real tattoos not that fake crap

hey! with henna I can change the style and design, I'm not stuck with it permenantly for the rest of my life!

well taking a tatto is a choice about a permanent thing you cary with you, that is why you have to choose wisely. Sculls on a 80 year old geezer is a bit far fetched, so you have to choose something that will not look to akward when you grow old

with Henna you dont have that problem!

I wasn't 18 when I got 4 of mine done.

I was 19 when I got the one inside my lip done though. That was in Blackpool on a drinking weekend, me and all my mates had the same thing done all at the same place. The things I do when drunk....

I've had it done a few times but they are really lame, i might get a cool, small design on my lower back permenantly when i'm older.

so back to tattoos

Why would you want one? Though I think Finti's idea with the runes is cool.

then why don't you get one?

I kinda wish I'd waited till I was older so I could have thought mine through a bit more, maybe keeping the designs similar so I could have a sort of theme going on.

I still seriously think about getting the ones on my arms covered up with a full shoulder/arm piece, some of those are nice.

Not removed, just covered with another design.

Dunno why, just fancy a change every now and then.

Dunno, not many places have pictures of the full arm pieces they do on display.

My mate Danny is covered in tatoo's, he's got some real classics too - like Jack Nicholson bursting through the door in The Shining on his upper thigh, thats totally awesome.
