Mandalorian armor in comics is light saber resistant, how is Slade putting Boba down exactly?

Not only that, he is used to fighting Jedi who would wipe the floor with Slade.

Lightsaber resistant =/= indestructible.

Which quality Jedi did he actually fight?

EU Fett has dueled ****ers like Vader (well Disney canon has no comics yet afaik so, yeah)
