Aladdin's Genie

vs

The Mask

No BFR.

Genie

Well Full Power Genie, not watered down punk Genie from Aladdin 2

I say Genie as well. Mask's power feats were mostly stuff that he did, Genie's involved more environment manipulation. I don't even recall Mask's most powerful feats but Genie's prince parade is kinda hard to beat.

Both are reality warpers, though Genie seems to have a larger area of effect than the Mask does. However, genies in Aladdin can still be bound and imprisoned in lamps, a weakness the Mask doesn't suffer from. I personally think that the Mask (given his ability to pull anything he wants out of thin air and his virtual invulnerability) has a better shot at imprisoning the Genie than the Genie has of KOing him. So my vote goes to the guy with the big green head.

I'm guessing this is KO right? In Aladdin 2 they said that a Genie isn't allowed or able to kill

KO or BFR or Temporary Imprisonment would work.

Yeah but Mask can only fight during the night. If the fight lasts till day he becomes Ibkis.

Yea and Genie can just make it daytime

There is nothing in the films that definitively states that the Mask only functions at night. The only scene that might suggest this is when Stanley tries to wear it in the one guy's office, and it doesn't work. But we know that the Mask is sentient and crafted by Loki, so it could simply have been trolling him.

And we also see Jamie Kennedy's friggin' dog wear the Mask and use it during the day, in the second film, Son of the Mask. So we have one iffy example of it not working during the day, and one clear example of it working perfectly during daytime. Also, while it is not a film, the cartoon series version of the Mask, the one based on the 1994 film, constantly uses his powers during the day time. So there is no real proof that the fight stretching into the day would make any difference.

I never saw Son of the Mask but it was a pretty big point that he couldn't use the mask during the day. Sucks that they disregarded that

It's a terrible movie, so only watch it if you really have NOTHING better to do. Hell, even that terrible low-budget Hercules movie that came out this year was better. But it is still a sequel to the first film (even having that same mask specialist doctor guy Stanley visits making an appearance), so the feats do count. Otherwise, I'd agree that there is a valid case for Genie simply making it daytime. But the dog does use the Mask during the day, which means that the movie version doesn't just work at night. They did take other liberties with the movie versions as well. For example, Loki, who created the Mask and basically has the same powers because of it, actually warps someone into a giant nose at one stage, something I don't recall the comic counterpart being able to do.
