Kota was one of his earlier fights, though. Galen improved a lot as things went on.

He was able to contend with Vader, a very physically strong foe who's overpowered many opponents.

True. The OP hasn't specified if this is Galen under Vader or not. But I guess Galen instead of Starkiller suggests it's after he's left Vader.

Marek Just suck at the light saber it is just decent, normal he is a force user really deadly espcially when he is raging but he loose defenses...
In anyway he is more offesiv than defensiv... (Maul too and watch the video seriously you will know what I'm meaning here...)
