Seriously spoilery speculation/possible leaks are beginning to appear now. Just like the old days, a lot of this could be garbage or could be spot on.

There's a reddit thread that sums up a giant load of it. So, to check- shall we post up the link and discuss what's within?

Obviously, massive potential spoilers in this thread may be coming.

Alright I'll go ahead and post them up- read at your own risk. They are not complete spoilers or anything like that but it gives a lot of potential info. Judge for yourself the truth of it.

My guess would be- some genuine stuff that's getting increasingly mixed up with reported speculation and deliberate nonsense. Note how part 4 specifically denies part 3. I doubt anyone really has access to the JJ/GL relations and what they think, and all of that official-prequel-hate just seems too much like wish fulfilment for the sort of fan who would be on 4chan to seem real to me. Nonetheless, I reckon some of the basic character facts will pan out.

One persistent spoiler rumour going around is Han Solo dying; more than one website has been running so-called proof of this.

Always an interesting one to see, that one, as this one has been mooted for some 35 years now. It's the rumour that cried wolf.

I would be kind of surprised if Han didn't die in TFA. But personally if he were to die I think it should be in the Episode 8.

Sounds fair to be honest. I wonder if that was the condition Ford said yes...

The thing is, whether it is going to happen or not, what with how much Ford and Kasdan both wanted it back in the 80s it was going to be at least discussed, so it's no spoiler to say they discussed it. Whether they put it in is a different matter.

They could always save it for the last day (a Sunday) at night, then Monday morning it could be online.

Of course. We are talking about leaks here. They aren't always correct and I think we all realize that. And, even if I did have insider info on the film, things could change in reshoots and on the editing floor. With that said, there is little reason to believe MSW is incorrect considering how accurate their info has been so far.

The trailers and other stuff they've officially released like art or that magazine. Everything from the trailers matches up with stuff they've spoiled. And before you say it, yes, most of these leaks came out before trailer 2 and well before the ComicCon footage.

So yes, there is plenty to check it with.

It tells us very little about plot lines, identity of the main characters or their relations. We'll just have to wait and see...

That black guy in the stormtrooper suit really ruined the trailer/teaser for me. Goofy face, scared shitless... he is gonna be Disney's Jar Jar, I guess.

yeah it fits neatly into some custom sith lock which will please many RPG game fans but im still not sold on the practicality of fighting with mutually lethal crossguards.

The Inquisitor's saber is a wretched design, tbh. I much prefer Kylo's cross-saber.

I hope Leia's a Jedi, though. Luke said she'd learn to use the Force as he did (which presumably means he'd train her to be a Jedi, right?) and apparently there's some Jedi during TFA, and I doubt Luke trained them all.

Finn (black guy), Rey (girl), Poe (X-Wing pilot) are the 3 new main characters. They will share the spotlight in TFA, but I think they will take over more for 8 and might be the only leads by 9.

I heard from someone who claims to have seen the movie (most likely BS) that The Knights of Ren may be the oldest of Force users. After Ren himself died his followers split into 3 factions: Jedi, Sith and the remaining Knights that essentially went into hiding while waiting for the prophesied new leader Darth Vader (immaculate conception, balance, etc), but they were too late in awakening or something. So by the time this movie comes along they are after his blood: Kylo Ren, the child of Han and Leia or Rey, the daughter of Luke and an unnamed mother.

All speculative, but it's a very interesting concept.

It's just how the 6" figure was made. You can take the blade off the saber, I believe. This keeps all 3 together so you don't lose the small cross guards.

I think its more than some manufacturing solution.. I believe the arc explains how the cross guards can be functional for blocking. Maybe the blade only arcs like that when another blade comes into contact.

Its weird having a final cut star wars film so soon. GL would still be tormenting his vfx people with superficial arbitrary edits though early december.

ESPN Caribbean posted on Twitter earlier about the poster reveal being tomorrow and then during Monday Night Football there will be another reveal (aka trailer).

Contacted the theater I'll be going to about ticket pre-sales for Monday and the manager responded with "I can neither confirm nor deny your question, but you might want to check our website Monday afternoon........"
