During the Mayan Rule arc it was implied that A-Bomb was stronger but I'm not sure about that. I'm going with Walter on this one.

I would say it implied the opposite... A-Bomb with Snowbird couldn't contain Sasquatch and was literally dragging them to the pyramid.

Also there's the other scene where Snowbird was holding one of his arms and Walter still hit A-bomb and sent him flying without much trouble.

A-Bomb is such a useless character.

Came on strong, then fizzled. Sasquatch kills him.

Despite his sort of uselessness, can Sasquatch actually hurt him enough for it to count as a win?

Yes. Seems as time went on his durability weakened and people weaker then sasquatch have hurt him. Ares has downright schooled him

I remember the Ares fight. I believe he pointed out that his skill and abilities were enough to take A-Bomb down even though he couldn't hurt him. He had to get out his Adamantine Axe. And I don't care how durable you are, a guy who's at least Class 70 swinging his axe down on your neck will hurt.

Have A-Bomb and Thing ever fought?

I think Ulik was drunk before this but nothing after shows any type of mental or physical mishaps.

Drunk or not that's pretty cool.

Yeah...can't remember...will reread the Issue but he seemed fine during that instance.

A-Bomb could sure take a hell of a beating. Look at the damage that Rulk did while hitting him. He shook the entire state when he hit A-Bomb.

It could be a cheap shot. Ulik was threatening Abomb...looking right at him. Then he looked down at the girl which lead to Abomb koing Ulik. Don't know what to call that tbh. One shot koing a physical top tier, even If he looks down for a second is a major ft.

I actually like A-bomb and his character design but he is sort of useless. He needs more showings to flesh out his strength/durability.

I'll post some fts soon when I return home.

Any shot that comes outside of combat, when a characters guard Isnt raised, is a cheapshot, assuming their attention is not on the attacks in my opinion.

Carver is the worst poster on this board. Once again lowballing. Also did you know in that same story Sasquatch actually easily beat She Hulk who at that time was equal to Thing? Writer even said Walter was put there as a joke character.

This is their fight not that far away from Infinite Crusade. After being controlled by Headlok, he makes Sasquatch slip into a blind furry attacking Ben, who at the time was wearing his exo-suit. Mr. Fantastic made to "restore most of the strength he used to possess" and "nearly as powerful as before". Sasquatch dominates him, even stopping Ben from even landing one hit. Headlok also mentions Sasquatch's power increase when he becomes angry "I feel Sasquatch's physical surge".

Never. It is assumed after the heroes were restored during Mayan Rule it healed him. He was talking during Northstar's wedding but there was no explanation.

No if a showing contradicts years and years of other feats and you CHOOSE to use that scan as proof and ignored everything else that is lowballing. Trying my best not to be biased by how irritating I find A-Bomb in that cartoon... Sasquatch takes him down. The big orange furball has been hanging with heavy hitters and dishing it out for years. A-Bomb might be a tough nut to crack but he'll break eventually.

I have no doubt Walter does well. I just have a hard time seeing him doing any significant damage considering A-Bomb was tanking hits that registered at a 10.0 on the Richter Scale.

It was when he had Rulk destroying pretty much anyone you put in front of him. So yeah it was Loeb.

And while he's been less impressive, his durability hasn't really come into question.

Ares for example had to use his higher skills and a godly axe because he couldn't hurt him.

A tough fight but Sasquatch should take a slight majority imo. He is more experienced and imo equally strong.
