Who are the top 5 strongest members of the X-Men?

In no order I have:

1. Rockslide
2. Strong Guy
3. Colossus
4. Namor
5. Juggernaut

krisblaze
As far as I know, Gentle is def stronger than Rockslide.

Board Walker
1. Wolverine

zopzop
In terms of pure lifting feats : Namor.

In terms of overall power : Classic Juggernaut. Namor is second.

juggernaut74
This thread is for X-Men, so this is depowered Juggernaut that is eligible. But he's still stronger than Namor.

krisblaze
There hasn't been a contest that I can think of, but Gentle has more or less been portrayed as stronger, with Rockslide having more sustainability.

Haha what dude?

Depowered Juggernaut is nowhere near that level.

juggernaut74
Depowered Juggy fought Sasquatch to a standstill twice, beat an amped Rhino, fought Thor & Luke Cage, fought and held his own against Hyperion(granted he got his knee busted).

Gladiator son

Yep. Out of all the Xmen combined, when Rogue got ahold of Kid Glads power, she worked Exodus. And again, the entirety of the Xmen couldn't do a thing to him.

juggernaut74
Didn't Logan stab him once?

I wouldn't consider that a stab.

Logan did stab Gladiator though but the writer confirmed that something was going on with Gladiators confidence during the time.

BTW recently Storm called Colossus the strongest of all the X-Men.

He is suppose to be...don't know if that is true though. He is most Def stronger than Depowered Jugs though.

Excalibur Juggy is not the same as Tbolts Juggy. Both versions were depowered, sure, but to a different extent...

But he didn't have as embarrassing showings as Excalibur's ones. Getting Blob'd, getting WC'd, being laughed at while working out...

Blob landed on him when he wasn't expecting it, and you're lowballing the Blob, he's a beast. And the Wrecker has kayoed the Hulk with one-shot and Colossus.

Blob landed on classic Wolverine the same way and Logan retaliated in an instant. Juggs that fought Hype would've shrugged that off...
Wrecker is one of the biggest losers in comics, actually. 1 good showing for 20 terrible ones. His average is what truly counts.

And yea the Wrecker has some low showings but he's got some good ones. You need to check out their respect thread...

StiltmanFTW
I did plenty of times. I'm familiar with the feats. I also know, as Mungi himself does, that it's far from the lv Wrecker usually operates at. He is only consistent in 1 thing. Beating Spiderman's ass. Gotta give him that.

Yes. Both are high-end showings, his striking power was never again shown to be on that level.

juggernaut74
Anyone know how strong Sunspot is or if he has any feats?

KingD19
I remember Cannonball pointed out that he was super strong, but not bulletproof. I don't actually remember him doing much strength stuff though.

juggernaut74
Doing some research the handbooks list him as lifting 50 tons.

carver9
He can amp past that though. That's his start off strength.

juggernaut74

StiltmanFTW
And Wolverine restrained/choked him with 1 arm *avx*. Beat up on him w/o claws in Claremont classic era, too.

I've always been more impressed with the energy projection aspect of his powers.

It depends on what you are looking for. Are you looking for lifting fts?

juggernaut74
Just an example of him augmenting his strength.

jrodslam
x-men depowered juggs was weak. He struggled lifting Clossus lvl weights.

Also depends on whos writing Guido. Some writers either dont care or dont know about the pacemaker Forge made for him. Base Guido is listed at 50tons.

Guido had a good fight against Thing and Rockslide recently so he's up there that's for sure.

Strong guy vs.Thing
(impressive as guildo grabs a punch)

Thing doesn't look great in that encounter considering Guido stops a punch and Shatterstar of all people blocks a full force swing, then casually knocks him out the window.

Or that Guido was ressed without the heart-complication

Is that baseline Colossus strength?

The Thing fight should have been longer. And its hard to call the short scuffle between him and rockslide. If he were stronger, he should have been amping guido, so idk.

I hate what theyve done with guido. If that was the case, it just goes to show how misused he was. Especially seeing how everything ended.

Yeah, he's one of my favourite bricks in Marvel.

He def needs some more respect.

juggernaut74
I remember Guido having a scuffle with Wonder Man during Infinity Wars but can't find scans of what all went down.

Missed this before but Colossus has 100 ton strength, guessing that's why Juggy was struggling with that weight.

KingD19
Sunspot's supposed to be Class 50 and like Wonder Woman in durability, good for blunt force/energy, bad against everything else.

carver9
He also withstood attacks from an extremely powerful Abomination that was stomping the Avengers, including Hulk (who was weakened at the time...still good for Sun Spot though).

juggernaut74
I didn't know he fought Abomination either. Did he bash his face in like Colossus did that one time?

carver9

Would post the entire scene but I'm at work. I'm talking about this fight.

If he would've busted this version of Abomination face up, it would've been an extremely high showing for him since that Abomb was wrecking shop.

Yep. They should really let him get his hands on the Asgardian Destroyer construct. I've always thought that it was plausible that he could fully control it. Or at least he should be able to.

juggernaut74
Box was rated at 85 tons iirc, not sure what feats he has. Shaw wrecked him pretty back recently.

-K-M-
Box was class 85 without manipulating the suit. When he did he was class 100+

Shaw didn't wreck the box armor. Box armor you phase into it and literally would just reform. Against shaw it was nothing more then just metal armour.

http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f130/A_Flight7/AlphaFlight75-20.jpg

Box beat the alternate reality wonderman and killed thing by physical means

juggernaut74
That's actually pretty bad@ss taking down Wonder Man ad killing Thing.

What version was the Hulk ripping apart?

Oh that was roger bochs. Different box. Madison is actually the 4th box. Roger was the 1st. He wasn't a mutant, just a regular human with no legs
