Supermutant
The greek gods are having a gladiator style tournament to choose the best warrior to represent all of them. Here are their champions:

Perseus vs Hercules vs Achilles vs Theseus

Round 1 hand to hand only

Round 2 everyone has swords and battle armor, except Herc gets club.

ares834
Perseus in both.

Time Immemorial
1. The Rock
2. Achilles.
3. Your mom

KingD19
Hercules. He's far stronger than everyone here and while Perseus can take a beating from him, I don't see him winning.

Mindset
Achilles gonna get in that ass doe.

Then Herc clenches and Achilles loses a bodypart.

Robtard
Perseus showed the highest level of strength here. Rock-Herc was low-level superstrong

What are Perseus' best strength feats?

Are you talking about the first or second match?

Hercules wins the first round

The second round comes down to the most skillful and fast combatant. I don't see strength having much if any bearing in this scenario. All combatants are equally susceptible to a well placed blade strike. Personally, i choose Achilles or Theseus but i don't know that we could argue out any clear winner from those three, but Hercules definitely dies first.

Impediment
Perseus stomps.

FrothByte
Agreed with jinx. Strength means little in a swordfight. Most skilled fighter wins that. So its probably Perseus in h2h, Achilles in sword.

That's just oil and shadows

Fite me irl, Imp, enough is enough.

Psychotron
The Rock wasn't even a proper Hercules. Perseus takes it.

Yes and no.

But considering Perseus has the super-strength and god-forged weapon to literally cut apart his opponents weapons/shields here, I'd say it's a factor.

Was he given his Olympus Blade? I thought everybody just had the same run of the mill weapons since it wasn't specified.

it's only a factor if he's able to cut through or damage his opponent's weapons. If he can't then I still think strength isn't much of a factor unless it's a ridiculously big steength advantage.

It is though. Perseus was blocking the blows of a guy who could easily shatter marble.

Could you remind me again who this guy was and in which movie? My memory of clash of the titans is not very good.

I'd like to see if it was outright blocking or if it was more a parry or deflection.

TheVaultDweller
Fight 1: Probably Herc of Perseus. All combatants are highly skilled, so strength is going to be a deciding factor in this match.

Fight 2: Probably Perseus or Achilles.

Ares834 is referring to the god of war Ares from Wrath of the Titans. Perseus was also strong enough to momentarily hold-off a Cyclops in that awful film.

vtcVr9hLxGU

He's also very durable, another factor that factors in a fight

edit: it looks like Ares hits Perseus in the face at 01:34 with a (apparently not god forged, has no glow) sword and besides a yell/grunt of pain, Perseus is for the most part unharmed.

Achilles has no chance here, why would anyone argue for him?

FrothByte
Because Achilles showed more skill than Perseus? And becuase if Perseus isn't invulnerable to getting cut up by a sword, then Achilles actually has a good chance of beating him?

RJ 2.0
Well hell, let's compare feats.

Now that I think of it, Percy Jackson should be allowed in this thread.

Achilles is a seasoned warrior that has led the attack of countless battles and wars. He has encountered fighting tactics from the greatest of combatants and is unrivaled in his skill. If there is anyone that is capable of avoiding, Perseus' weapon long enough for a death blow, it's Achilles.

Perseus is a great warrior with convictions and abilities that make him formidable but his skill is slight when compared to, Achilles.

OK, but what I said here:
