I don't think Grodd is strong enough to take Rhino physically.

Nah. He had a significant upgrade; in the scans, he's picking a VW Beetle up with one hand, then hurling it through an apartment building across the street. It smashes through at an angle, then carries on flying:

Reposting that to death, I see. Tired of seeing the same feat all the time. While it's cool and def. proves he has super-gorilla strength, it's nothing compared to Rhino's power. Sending Nova to orbit, tossing a truck like nothing, giving Hulk a fight, getting described as class 85 by Parker, etc.

Wolverine has survived worse. Looking at everything as a whole, Rhino is above Grog.

Grodd has been hit by Flash multiple times, even hit across America, but that hasn't really KO'd him.
