The Predator has his sight set on the Archangel Gabriel thinking he'd make a fine trophy.

Gabriel has his Mace. (So far the only weapon I've seen other then his wings.)

Can the Archangel defeat the menacing creature or will the Predator claim a new trophy?

Guns cannot kill him. Where did you get this?

They were not immune to physic damage, how's he shrugging off a plasma cannon?

Because he used his wings to block bullets in the movie. His wings are bulletproof, Gabriel himself is not. So if he gets shot, he'll die.

And just because the wings are bulletproof, doesn't mean they're plasmacaster proof.

Yet human Michael was hurting him and he used his wings to block the bullets every time Michael tried to shoot him.

In fact Michael was choking him out which is why he needed to pull a Yoshimitsu in the first place.

That's because Michael was still in possession of some of his angelic strength and agility. The way he was flipping around and his speed in the final fight scene proves this.

A bullet actually. The blade would go clean through, and it wasn't that wide, just long.

A bullet usually bounces around inside your body doing massively more internal damage before popping out. Also Michael was using shotguns and assault rifles to shoot at him, so those would have done a lot more damage than the blade did if they hit him.

Also you ignored my question. If he was bulletproof why did he always block the bullets with his wings?

Lol no. The blade went through vital organs and Gabriel felt nothing.

So..judging from the comments, most believe that the predators long range equipment should easily take out Gabriel. Then this becomes spite no? Maybe the discussion should be who takes a close combat battle with close combat weapons. That would make the fight more interesting and harder to call. Who has the better skill and all. Personally I think Gab should definitely hang with a Pred up close.

anyway i see the predator atleast ripping off gabriels wings which would be a massive shift in defensive and offensive capablities for gabriel

I don't see how the Pred can rip off those wings without getting his hands all cut up.

i picture them both falling off something and the predator on gabriels back ripping them off before gabriel can roll/ turn around and hit him back

If I remember correctly, those wings were razor sharp. And they didn't exactly look like they were easy to tear off.

this is an elite predator we are dealing with, would his armour be able withstand gabriels wings? i honestly think they would put up enough resistance for the pred to ripp off those damn wings

I don't remember any Preds wearing complete armor. They had bits and pieces here and there but nothing that encompassed majority of their bodies. Plus they don't have it on their palms or anything. So I don't see how a pred can rip off Gabriel's wings without its hands getting ripped to shreds in the process.

he has his blade pack and smart discs... should be enough to tear some feathers and make some holes to make it easier to rip apart

Those were metal wings IIRC. Don't think they're that easy to rip.

how do we know that the angelic metal used in the forged sword is the only thing that can damage him, gtranted its the only thing we SEE damage him. but that isnt enough to say its the only thing
