Ok, so I've heard that Bane needs a better match-up. No-one too strong like Durron, for instance.

Can other characters from the NJO series defeat him?

Neutral setting.

Bane has a telekinesis advantage over him, its not big mind you as Bane's TK is pretty mediocre- but its probably enough to damage him. In pure sabers it could go either way.

But yeah, I question if Bane could even beat the Vong.

I really don't see him beating the vong, at all. He might down 1 or two, but given his performance against mercenaries and his general lack of skill- he might die.

From what I hear about Vong Slayers, that just might be one of the hardest matches in the gauntlet.

Looks like he just beats Corran (that's even debatable).

I'd think Jaina would stop him.

Stop at the start because Vong Slayers are boss.

Vong can be killed with lightning. Bane's lightning just so happens to be one of the most powerful.

BTW Can anyone list Bane's lightning feats as of DoE?

No. His lightning can still incinerate people and turn them to ash. As well as disintegrate stone and melt blasters.

Bane clears. Corran could be a problem though.

I bet Corran gets some nice offense in because of the unique lightsaber and force technique, which should hinder Bane some in his future fights.

Bane get to 3 for sure. He could lose at 3 or 4, but will lose at 5 if he gets there.
