So I was able to do snes and nes games but I am having a tough time doing sega games now. I tried Picodrive and Dgen but I've had no luck getting it to work. I want to be able to play Sonic 3 and Knuckles lock on but I'm not sure how to do it? Can somebody please help me?

So I managed to work in Picodrive for the Genesis, answered another question.
