That's nothing but a flashy anime visual which is common in Japanese media, they're not meant to be taken seriously, even if we did, it'd be an outlier that stands trillions of times above everything else ever demonstrated

One thing i have to ask though is this: Can Thor survive losing his spirit? What about having his body possessed due to Sephiroth willing Jenova cells into his body?

Sephiroth is a master illusionist which everyone forgets about. He is also the greatest swordsman in FF. Better yet defeating Sephiroth is reserved only for Cloud. Nothing but Omnislash ever defeats him.

Just to stop this dragging on needlessly, Chaos Vincent isn't as powerful as Sephiroth and we all know how powerful Chaos Vincent is, arguably Herald.

Except Chaos is one essentially, even before his final form he is ****ing around with Weiss, only the fourth strongest character in VII.

Everything Weiss and Vincent have done in any form be it human or OMEGA/CHAOS Sephiroth still does better. Nomura and the others created him to be perfect down to his damned facial structure. We have never seen all-out Sephiroth, the closest we've ever seen is in non-canon games such as KH and Dissidia.

Thor owns the living shit out of Sephiroth.

The son of Odin takes on beings Sephiroth wishes he was when he grew up.
