Does Aquaman get his trident?

Yeah.

aquaman, almost every time.

Why?

Because he can command halibuts and seahorses.

If that's the case, I concede.

he's certainly stronger, far faster and has great damage soak. blastarr has range but his blasts really aren't all that uber. i think arthur just outclasses him in all the important areas. with the trident he can parry. blastarr can prolong things, but it's not in his nature. he'd close and try h2h and he'd get his sh!t pushed in.

Arthur throws a building on him.

Blastaar proceeds to stand still in awe and make some retarded comment as the building hits him.

Blaastar has taken it to the Avenger (which included numerous of heavy hitters), Genis, tanked attacks from Nova Prime, etc, etc, and you think Aquaman would easily defeat him, not even talking about a majority? Wow!!!

With trident, Aquaman wins.

I don't need Blaastar to beat Aquaman to make an argument for Hulk beating him. Hulk would destroy Aquaman. Stay on topic.

and he's been chumped by the thing. and blastarr was actually afraid of nova....he's got at least as many low showings as high, probably more. any competent low herald would take him imo. back in the day he was considered pretty tough. he's really done....nothing lately. he was barely a gnat to the hulk and could only try to stay the hell out of the way. lol

For every great Blastaar feat, there is a "Hulk is really scary" feat.

Remember when dehydrated Namor beat the absolute piss out of him?

His highs are pretty got darn high. If you average his showings, the guy is a monster.

Also, scared of Nova Prime? Where did you get that from? I think you might need to relook at their later showings.

Even though Nova couldn't harm him beforehand? Then he had the Rod (that Nova was able to control by the way). He didn't fear Nova. Not in the least. No need to find the scans because I will post it.

What makes you say Nova is above Blaastar? Blaastar showings against elites are legit. What fights are you talking about with Nova that gives you this perception of him being above Blaastar?

if he has the ccr he's better. without it, he really isn't anything special at all. he would be a high tier high meta imo. i don't see him beating someone like simon or namor for a majority. someone a little more versatile like vision would definitely take him down....

Tbh I think Blastaar is on that fine high meta/low herald line, with a dip into high meta the last years.

i agree with this. not sure the ccr puts him that far beyond arthur though. what are some of his feats with the rod? can't recall off-hand... i assume the inhumans feat is one. i always lose track of when he has it and when he doesn't.

The inhuman feat was him without it iirc.

I can't really think of a lot of feats where he has it, I was just considering in relation to how strong one generally becomes.

i remember an arc where he had it but he didn't seem to be much more powerful. not sure how much of a boost it gives him tbh. he was tougher from what i recall, but how much stronger? not sure. it would require some looking back and....i don't care enough about this thread tbh. lol
