Also asking a slightly different question:

Can BBs scream negate/disrupt/deflect/tank the Omega Beams, with no zig zagging on their part, if both stood 1/4 mile apart and stared/screamed at each other?

Not asking if the scream does any damage to DS, mostly interested in the above question....

First impression: no. Offhand, I don't think I've ever seen the Boltmeister use his vocal energy to stop or deflect other forms of energy, and the O-beams are pretty major stuff.

omega>scream, at least historically. in the orion series, he was using the omega effect to kill gods. they also have a far greater range of abilities. they were at one time a plot device power. in the dcnu i've only seen them a couple times. they still seemed devastating but i'm not sure who the most powerful entity they have taken out is....

Maybe if he could channel it into a beam he could somewhat deflect. Like, he might take some damage or whatever, but he'll force the beam aside or something.

A scream wouldn't do much I think.

It needs to be pointed out BB's power is not specifically a sonic scream. I dunno, just when you call it that..it just sounds like you are saying all the guy has is essentially a super amped up version of the "Canary Cry" or something.

I'm not sure if this detail matters in terms of how it would interact with the OE, but yeah.

I actually i agree with that, but sonic scream is what Stan saddled him with as a name.
I figured the wide range of BBa power might help him here, which is why i asked.

Strange thing is Blackbolt can also create blasts of anti matter for some reason.

Yeah he has vaguely defined energy manipulation powers that are separate from the scream.

Versatile set of lungs on that guy...!
