She's powerful enough to pwn Jolee and Juhani at the same time and knows a bunch of crazy Force powers. Bastila was already a very powerful Jedi and was better as a Sith.

Bastila was also regarded as one of the greatest Jedi in history. Barriss doesn't stack up.
