As someone who's spent years on Comicvine, the best times were 2008-2011. Once 2012 came around so did a flood of retards and on top of that most of the good debaters leaving.

Comicvine is still only the second worst forum though. Outskirt Battledome beats it by a considerable margin by having percentage of stupid people. Comicvine is second, Spacebattle forums is third.

Moviecodec use to be alright but that forum is a ghost town now.

Their Vs msg board sucks. They're right about one thing though; Killer Croc is the Jobber Supreme.

But the site itself does have plenty of pics/scans and a decent (far from perfect, but pretty good) list of characters' appearances.

I disagree, as I haven't seen a single *good* respect thread of any comic character on CV. They might have the means for it as mentioned above, but not the posters.

KMC threads are much better, well-described and filled with scans... well, to be fair, the old threads are suffering from broken links, as you can never tell when the image hosting services get terminated or demand you to pay them if you want to continue using them. Imageshack is a nice example of the latter.

Recently, redditers have been doing a good job on some respect threads. They still have a lot to learn, but hey, not everywhere you can see a proper Morbius capability thread... that's something.

Thats why you need to use attached images, its so much easier.

I did make a successful SW Thread on CV.

The problem with attachments is that you can add only 1 per post. That's just not working well when there are fights that last through 10 pages or more... like Exodus' fight with the X-Men, for example.

Stilts is such a comic book nerd. No wonder the other boards hate him.

I miss when that rap battle forum came here and talked about us, every diss was straight fire.
