Classic Iron Man. Pre New52 Captain Marvel.

My questions to you:

1. Can Iron Man in standard armor beat Captain Marvel, in a no BFR, no prep fight?

2. Can Iron Man in any of his specialty armors get the win (still no prep or BFR)? If so, which armor.

No and no....as I recall that fight with the hulk was a bit of a sucker punch and IM amour pretty much shut down immediately after that punch.

Actually IM might be able to win one if he can somehow cause CM to revert. But other than that I just don't believe IM has ever shown to have that level of power to beat a "superman" one on one w/out prep...IMO

Also, CM was only able to knock out Superman so easily there because it was a sucker punch and Clark is weak to magic... Marvel would destroy Iron Man though.

Both were excellent sucker punches, yes...

well im's was sort of a sucker punch. hulk did try to hit him with a jet and staggered himself for a moment. good on im to take advantage. but his record against hulk is NOT a good one. cm would pretty much murder him though i guess it would be closer than im vs prenu cm.

CM wins 10/10 Outside of Massive prep IM has no chance.
