Peak Katarn (FotJ) is around RotS Kenobi tier, so he wins comfortably.

Kenobi wouldn't beat Kit comfortably, and Kit is in that general tier as well.

Yeah I agree Kit is in the general tier but I don't think Jedi power scales in a linear manner. Meaning if Kit is a 7 and Kenobi is an 8, the 8 will have an easier time beating a 7 than a 7 will have beating a 5.
It's by no means a stomp but the majority of the time Kit will simply be outclassed.
