Takes place aboard the Oppressor.

Nephthys
Angral

I see it as going either way, personally. They have some pretty similar feats, but if hype's anything to go by, I'd lean slightly towards Angral.

Nephthys
Angral's ability is largely informed by the level of his underlings, who were impressive. I guess I bank more on that and his Dark Council offer more than Nihl giving Cade good fights at a time where his level is wobbly.

SunRazer
I was thinking that Angral was demonstrably above Sadic, who's above Praven. It's sort of like Nihl and Wolf in that you need to know a "chain" of feats to understand Legacy characters. In the case of the TOR side, it's for Praven, and it goes like this:

Praven was, years before his prime (this was during the Sacking of Coruscant, which is well over a decade before TOR), was capable of slaying Master Usma, who was canonically one of the most skilled Jedi in the Order. Sadic was not only better than Praven in his prime, or supposedly so (I'll need confirmation), but he then underwent the Power Guard project, which gave him considerably greater physical and calculational power. Angral was better than Sadic, and seemingly by a greater margin than Sadic was above Praven by.

The other thing is Angral comfortably beating Orgus Din, which I have at least on par with Nihl comfortably outskilling Wolf Sazen. Nihl did it with more ease, but Orgus is just better than Wolf for me. He's fought and survived more battles with the Sith than anybody else - more of an experience thing, if anything, but still an impressive accolade - and IIRC, he single-handedly cut down droves of Sith on Coruscant by himself, whereas Wolf had the aid of other Jedi. Somebody can confirm this for me, though.

Nephthys
Yeah, thats pretty much my thinking too. thumb up

The fact that he was offered a seat on the Dark Council means he was one of the Empire's most powerful Sith Lords, and The Old Republic Encyclopedia confirms he's one of the Empire's most celebrated warlords (in other words, one of the most skilled fighters of the Empire).

It's not that a case can't be made for Nihl, and I'm willing to listen to one, but from what I've seen, I just find Angral the slight superior.

ILS
>Cade's level was wobbly when Nihl fought him
>Just prior to fighting Nihl
>Cade oneshots Talon
>wut

I think both of you should either just wait for my respect threads to come out or read Legacy. You're drawing a lot of false conclusions as of recent that could easily be avoided.

NewGuy01
Quotes for Sadic being above Praven, btw? Even after undergoing the Power Guard program, he appears less important and less impressive tbh.

All of this can be said for Sazen as well.

The fact that he was offered a place as the Emperor's right hand...

Nihl is the Empire's greatest warlord.

carthage
Nihl, solidly.

NewGuy01
Just checked the codex, it says Lord Sadic is one of Angral's most powerful apprentices, not the most powerful.

Nephthys
It says Angral considered Sadic the one most likely to kill him.

NewGuy01
Because of his nature, not necessarily his power.

Wolf's cut down numerous sith on multiple occasions. I mean, he was a respect master at the time of Ossus, and half of what we see Jedi do in the series is cut down sith.

Granted, he's rarely the only Jedi on the battlefield, but he's also almost always outnumber (except when he's facing someone high-rank) and thus dealing with multiple foes on his own anyway. First post-Ossus fight, first time we see him fight with one arm, 5 Sith ambush 4 Jedi, quickly cut down a master and a knight, then... Wolf and Shado don't even break a sweat killing them all. And those were ones strong enough to in turn easily kill a master and knight.

But more impressive is vs named foes.

I mean, what named foes has Orgus ever fought? He may be fine against rank and file, but *every* time he faces a darth (which, granted, seems to be just Angral), he loses solidly. Sazen, aside from his fights with his rival, also fights Azard (a powerful lord who we see is strong in other battles) and Stryfe and even Cade in HtH (which is impressive, what with the one-arm thing ^^).

Kosmos Supreme
Nihl

Wolf's unarmed fight with Cade was awesome.

@NewGuy01 -

1. I don't know, I asked for confirmation of this.

2. Sazen did that with other Jedi's help, though. I've been told Orgus did that on his own, hence why I considered it the superior feat. As with the above, though, I still need confirmation, so my argument hinges very much on it being able to be supported and not just being rumors I heard from other people.

3. Who else among Krayt's Empire would be fit for that, lol?

4. Right, but it has less skilful warriors, with the exception of Krayt, and I highly doubt Nihl is more skilled than Krayt. I'm count the Wrath etc. in that quote, but the quote might not even address them.

My argument isn't fully developed because I'm relying on rumors I've heard, not something I can factually support off my own bat. And as I said, Nihl can also win this fight.

A lot of the 'cut through groups' feats in Legacy are near-other-people-doing-the-same-thing, but not, like, back to back a lot of the time. More, "I'll kill the three on the left, you kill the three on the right, and we'll meet back here in... oh, we both finished while I was talking. Ah well. Oh, there's more! I'll take those two...".
