Who wins ?

Good match. Cage packs more firepower and probably has a strength advantage in his exosuit, but Wise is faster and more agile. Kind of leaning towards Wise at the moment, but would need to revisit Edge of Tomorrow to refresh myself with Cage's feats, because a lot of the combat scenes from that film are a bit hazy.

Also assuming Cage doesn't get any restarts, or he would just keep going until he either got lucky or figured out a way to beat Wise.

With no restarts, Caine just flies around and takes shots at him, while he blocks every single bullet of Cage's with his shield.

Caine too agile, has shield. Cage and mechabitch were only THAT formidable after a few resets. Cain has more raw experience, more adaptability, weapon -lazer hand gun- may cause more damage, has shield and about 5 fold maneuverability.

You are underestimating Cage's reflexes and skills learned against the mimics. The mimics in a massive battlefield Cage has constantly shown the skills to maul them. He is against one opponent here.

And you're failing to realize all the Mimics he fought got up close and personal. Caine could do that easily based on feats, but he could also just shoot at Cage from the sky. Either with his grav boots or his wings.

Cage wins after X amount of resets. His power-set is like Phil Connors and nigh invincible unless he's facing God or similar.

I have seen Caine though exceptional struggle against weaker aliens in the operating room.


And cage can shoot at him from the ground.

Caine wins as long as Cage doesn't get resets.
