Vader has just recently taken bota which gives him god-like powers but also makes him spaz out. Who wins?

carthage
Canon and Legends Vader has better telekinetic showings than TPM Sidious whose best feat was him stating he could "destroy" a diner? Vader's higher end feats are all superior to this version of Sidious. He could win via manipulating his breathing apparatus, but Vader has him beat in terms of telekinesis

Emperordmb
Wouldn't control be something of a factor here?

NewGuy01
Sidious.

It was him effortlessly collapsing a restaurant, two decades before TPM. So I'd say Sidious is above Vader, especially because he is depicted as Plagueis's rival by this point in time.

Which isn't better than Vader toppling a cathedral, bringing down a massive hut from a Wroshyr tree, collapsing platforms, manipulating freighters, and lifting the massive Lylek queen. Vader's feats as of Lords of the Sith put him on par with Plagueis in terms of raw power anyway.

SunRazer
Vader's feats as of LotS still doesn't place him on par with Plagueis (close but not quite, unless you have an explanation).

Vader collapsing a cathedral etc. were maximum effort showings, which aren't comparable to an effortless showing. Should Palpatine have exercised full power two decades after that event, I'm confident he could do much more - in fact, that feat was only a decade after he was initially trained. Add two more decades, and have him using maximum effort rather than none, and I'm confident he's more powerful than Vader.

He pulverizes Lylek exoskeletons and reduced them to gore and chunks of their exoskeletons with the wave of his hand (their exoskeletons were thicker than the armor of the Twilek soldiers), a handful of Lyleks could besiege entire Twilek cities and their carapaces could withstand slamming into trees/blaster bolts

Quote for it being "Effortless" and he never collapsed it he mused that it would be "easy" and never actually did it his best showing as of the Plagueis novel was collapsing a ceiling. Vader with little effort already equaled Plagueis's feat of "all but atomizing" Maladian assassins and this is decades before his prime in ROTJ as well. You're opinion that Sidious could've done better is nice, but Vader has the better feats as overall aside from Sidious's musing. Sidious also did nothing to equal Vader destroying those platforms on TFU

The Merchant
Uhhh, just saying but if Plaguis literally "all but atomized" the Assassins that's a ridiculous amount of energy, more so then Vader's feat.

carthage
No he didn't afterwards they remarked that it looked like a bomb went off, indicating that they were still intact. Vader blew the Lyleks apart and their carapaces were stronger than that of the Maladians:

The Merchant
There are weapons in SW that can destroy at near atomic levels like the E3, so a Bomb doing that wouldn't surprise me.

carthage
ok

The Merchant
No it's not, there's no reason to say Plagueis didn't nearly atomize the Assassins and if he did it doesn't matter if the Lyleks were tougher, atomizing a human being takes city destroying levels of energy I hope you know that.

carthage
Except it said "all but atomize":

1. Its remarked that they said it looked like an explosion went off, Vader blew up two of them from the inside out and their carpaces are harder and more resilient than anything from the Maladians's armor and Vader "reduced it to gore" while simultaneously blasting back and shattering the lyleks immediately behind the ones he reduced to gore. He was also able to smash them down in a single wave, whereas, Plagueis was gradually faltering and his attacks becoming less potent until he said he'd "unleash hell" in a desperate attempt to finish them off.

2. This iteration of Sidious has no showings of barrier to suggest he could take repeated waves of that telekinetic power

"How effortless it would be, he thought, as the dark began to rise in him, searing and hungry, yearning to assume control of his body and unleash itself, to break the necks of both of them, to tear their beating hearts from their chests, to hurl and plaster them against the walls, to bring the entire sour-smelling place down on their heads..."

It was effortless, not just easy, so with the conditions I mentioned, Vader has no discernible power edge in the slightest. And the feat you mentioned doesn't equate to Plagueis's feat, which was under terrible conditions, not to mention Plagueis had yet to reach his prime when he accomplished that feat as well.

EmperorSidious2
Is there a difference between ROTS Sidious and TPM,AOTC Sidious.

Trocity
There's a noticeable difference between TPM and ROTS, not so much AOTC/ROTS though.
