Both were virtually untouchable in battle.

Achillies wins. No blade shall harm him, divinely inspired or not no enemy has ever struck his skin in melee, I don't believe it's possible, going by the movie. Rivers enemies while brutal, were mindless brutes, id have liked to see how she would have done against the assassin in that movie.

Arrows also missed him in the film, its a one on one fight, Paris had not only 'Prophecy' on his side, but a distracted achillies aswell. One on One when you can see the attacks coming is a different matter. Still Achilies.

Prophecy and the devine were not a part of the movie. He wasn't dipped in the river Styx and he wasn't invulnerable.

...He was given the prophecy about 20 minutes into the movie about meeting is greatest glory and his death in the battle of troy, prophecy his mother seemingly knew about for a long time. Just because the movie didn't delve into his origin story...

Considering that River is psychic, I'd say she would have the majority in a fight. Those Monsters in Serenity looked to be way stronger than Achilles, and she was taking them out left and right.

Those monsters were just crazy humans. Achilles would have ripped thru them like toilet paper

They were literally stated as being mindless, crazy men. Untrained, undisciplined, unskilled.

What weapons do they have?

River would rip Achilles' intestines directly out of his ass hole in h2h combat. Given any weapon either have been shown to use, she shoots him in the face with a pistol.

Both given martial weapons is the only scenario in which Achilles can win.
