AsbestosFlaygon
This is the Potara fusion of the GT versions of Goku and Vegeta.

Galan007
SSJ4 Gogeta, definitely.

The difference between Potara and Metamoran isn't significant enough to bridge THAT vast of a gap.

AsbestosFlaygon
Hmm... I was thinking it would be quite an even match.

Why do you think so?

Galan007
Because we're talking about a SSJ4 fusion here.

AsbestosFlaygon
But it's a Metamoran fusion without the rival boost provided by Potara earrings.

What about a hypothetical SSJ2/SSJ3 Vegetto GT?

Galan007
...It's still 2 SSJ4's Metamoraning together, compared to 2 SSJ1's Potaraing together.

The difference between SSJ1 and SSJ4 is WAY too vast for Potara to overcome.

Crimson Dragoon
A hypothetical SSJ1 GT Vegetto might beat Super Baby Vegeta, possibly getting past his Golden Oozaru form

SSJ3 GT Vegetto still wouldn't cut it, since he's like a complete transformation behind Gogeta, and GT presents the gap between SSJ3 and SSJ4 as gargantuan, considering SSJ3 Goku couldn't beat Base Baby Vegeta while he beat Golden Oozaru Baby as an SSJ4.

Time Immemorial
Nothing beats SS4 Gogeta.

Dramatic Gecko
Remember Vegitto was making Buuhan look the fool in base. The super saiyan transformation was just a "How ****ed are you?" gesture.

AsbestosFlaygon
Well, some people here are disregarding the anime depiction of Vegetto.
He transformed to SSJ1 right away in the manga.
I'm one of those who regard the anime showings as canon.

How about the feat discrepancies? Saiyan saga Vegeta casually destroyed a planet with a two-finger energy attack while on his way to earth in the anime--yet when he got to earth, his full-power Galick Gun was required for the job(in both the manga and anime.) Is the former feat canon, iyo? Is Saiyan saga Vegeta really a casual planet-buster? How about Buuhan nearly collapsing all dimensionS when he got really angry with Vegetto in the anime? Is that canon, iyo? Is Buuhan really a potential multiverse-buster?

...Oh and in the anime, Mr. Popo of all people was nearly on par with SSJ Goten+SSJ Trunks during their little fight. Is that canon as well? Is Mr. Popo really SSJ-level?

How about little things in the anime, like villains somehow keeping their bodies in the afterlife, even though all other sources state that evildoers lose their bodies when they die... Is that canon, iyo?

May I add to this please?

What about Krillin hurting FPSSJ Goku with a rock? A F*CKING ROCK!!!! When a much weaker SSJ Goku tanks Frieza beams to the FACE!!!!!!

Galan007
I don't remember that scene. mmm

But yeah, another great example. thumb up

It was during the 10 days til the Cell Games and Goku was napping by a lake or some such nonsense. Krillin figured even tho he was asleep he was still completely aware of his surroundings and decided to test that theory.

About Saiyan Saga Vegeta being a planet buster according to the filler - what's wrong about it, exactly? Sans the galick gun thing?

Kamesennin and Piccolo, who were many, MANY times weaker than Vegeta, were capable of destroying a moon... or were those fillers too? I've only read a few chapters of manga, sorry.

Reflassshh
Piccolo destroying the moon didn't happen in the manga iirc.

Even IF you think Vegeta was a bonafide planet-buster during the Saiyan saga, the manga(and anime) made it clear that it would have required a full-power specialized attack from him(ie. Galick Gun), in order to lay waste to the earth.

...Yet in the filler, a casual two-finger beam with no charge-time to speak of was more than enough to atomize an entire world AND its surrounding moon:

The latter showing makes absolutely NO sense in accordance with his canonical history.

How many times more powerful Saiyan Saga Vegeta was than Piccolo at that time or Full Power Roshi? shifty

Galan007
Vegeta was ~129x more powerful than Roshi. So if we're just looking at things from a numerical standpoint, he wouldn't have been remotely close to a bonafide planet buster.

StiltmanFTW
uhuh

Galan007
stick out tongue

While I recognize Roshi busting the moon as canon(technically), it was definitely an outlier, imo. I mean, Roshi was a feeb in comparison to King Piccolo, who was exhausted after unleashing two city-busting attacks. A guy who can whimsically dish out moon-busters whenever he feels it should have absolutely nothing to fear from a guy who can barely manage a few city-busters.

That is just one example, of many.

just shows the inconsistency of dbz haha
