The only way this expansion works is if these two are the same guy. And Vitiate somehow created an Empire even better than his last one in a micro-fraction of the time.

Reading through, it certainly appears that way.

They fuse and become a Super OP Sith/Whatever the "Fallen Empire" Represents.

Valkorion is actually half of Vitiate's soul that ran off with his true body, and that's why Vitiate is stuck in spirit form. Basically, Vitiate/Valkorion is Gollum/Smeagol, something that Bioware totally hasn't done with a SW character before... right?
