Round 1: Alchemy battle (Who created the worst Sith monstrosities/whose beasts would win a battle)

Round 2: Force Battle.

Battle takes place in the Tomb of Freedon Nadd

Emperordmb
I'm siding with Sorzus Syn in round 1 because Leviathans. Round 2 is a little trickier.

NewGuy01
Naga, but it should be a good fight if Sorzus is anything like Ajunta and Karness.

1) Sorzus Syn, for sure. Even aside from the Leviathans, she made not just the Muur Talisman, one of the most potent sith artifacts ever, capable of holding Muur's spirit and projecting his power while being nigh indestructable, but her own talisman was supposed to be stronger.

2) Naga Sadow, I would assume. His sorcery was quite formidable.

Yes. She looks very much like the least-combat oriented of the big five HYD sith, while being the best alchemist (better than Muur! Mut conversely, sorcery seems more the focus on Muur than her). Her talisman and such should make her dangerous in a fight, but Naga is still the more directly potent most likely.

NewGuy01
1.) Naga's got leviathans too, and his talismans are fairly potent as well. That being said, I'd probably side with Sorzus anyway.

2.) Pretty much, though I'd give her the nod over Dreypa, who seems like the loser of the big 5 if anything.

Yes, but she *invented* them.

Not sure about that, he was kicking butt left, right, and center against the Lost Tribe, and most of that time he was still recovering from stasis and having trouble accessing his memories.

I view him as an all-arounder compared to the more specialists of the others. Probably better with saber than Sorzus and Muur, better with sorcery than Ajunta and Sorzus, better with alchemy than Ajunta and XoXaan.

@Q99 - I believe Karness Muur and Remulus Dreypa aided her in the creation of Leviathans.

And the fact that she wanted her talisman to be stronger means nothing. No source suggests she ever succeeded in creating that superior talisman - and she probably did fail.

NewGuy01
Strongly doubt.

Strongly doubt.

Also doubt.

Dreypa seems to have a lot of raw power, but he hasn't shown anything that I know where he can exceed Karness Muur, apart from Leviathan fandom. I mean, he has no skill feats to surpass Muur's contest with Cade in Legacy: Vector, for instance.

Dreypa hasn't done crap in Sorcery to surpass Sorzus, who documented considerable amounts of Sorcery/Alchemy and was just a greater pioneer of such arts than somebody like Dreypa.

Keep in mind one of the main things we know about him is he was specifically Muur's arch rival, as well as one of their military commanders. We also know in reduced form he controlled leviathans and walked over the Lost Tribe- he was pretty much a planetary level threat on his own. Muur's talisman was supposed to give Muur the advantage, until Dreypa in turn received a talisman, and they'd be in rough balance again.

So he's going to be pretty powerful, since the best data we have on him is =~ Muur. Maybe Muur a bit stronger, but close enough for them to circle around each other rather than go for the kill.

Ajunta was the strongest physically. Muur the best with sorcery, Sorzus the best with alchemy. XoXaan was noted to be the best healer and, as leader of their legions, probably second best physically. Dreypa was their best admiral.

Sorzus is all kinds of alchemy, yes, but I'm separating alchemy and sorcery here. We don't know cases of her doing direct sorcery. Still, even if she is better, I'd expect him to be stronger physically. All of the five were said to be rivals, with only Ajunta given a specific ranking among them (first).

Emperordmb
Sorzus does have that accolade of being one of Sidious's strongest predecessors.

That just makes the rest of the Sith of her era just as powerful, tbh. And Sadow has a similar accolade.

The Sith are highly indebted to Sorzus for uncovering and inventing a myriad of Sorcery and Alchemy-related techniques and practices, but she has no actual showings of power. Sadow should win the second round - the first is more debatable.

NewGuy01
Even if she invented the Leviathans, the Sith had 2,000 years to build upon that knowledge before Sadow's time. It's still arguable.

I don't think there were any alterations to leviathans after that point- at least not for a long time (Vul Isen eventually makes sea leviathans, but same base there).

And talisman wise, hers are always some of the best.
