Luke was guided by the spirit of Old Ben, iirc.

Basically, Splinter Luke is Luke's potential with Ben Kenobi behind the wheel. Since this is Ben Kenobi's experience in a young body, the result is probably slightly superior to ROTS Obi Wan.

I'm assuming the OP is referring to Luke with Ben Kenobi's guidance through the Force?

Young Luke with ANH Kenobi behind the wheel, though, has enough experience (and becomes a Soresu master) to beat Kyle.
