I'll read anything Ellis does. This seems slightly odd territory for him, but he's easily my favorite comic writer. Count me in.

Well he has done spy related stuff before with that RED limited comic series

not sure if he's done anything else spy related stories.

Well Crooked little vein and Gun Machine were both detective novels. Bond crops up as a favourite for many writers you would not expect like William Boyd.
