1) its stated many times yoda is the greatest Jedi up to that point

2) yoda didn't need an amp to match Sheev, he did it by himself

3) yoda has way more knowledge in the force and greater power than windu

4) windu needed an amp to even match Sidious. He won't be receiving that amp due to yoda not having enough darkness or hardly any for mace to draw on.

5) yoda is much faster.

6) yoda made Dooku flee someone thought to be above or on windus level of skill

7) yoda has a better comprehension of all 7 forms with the exception of juyo.

I think these points perfectly sum up this debate. Don't know whey you made it but ok.

I believe even in canon, it was stated that Mace is second to Yoda.

And Yoda's showings in the Force remain considerably superior to Mace's.

How? It was confirmed by creators of "AotC". And by most of Legends sources.
And Yoda was untouchable for Dooku in the Force. He was also able to deflect Sidious' FL (which is - excluding the Ones - the most powerful version of it in the whole SW's universe).

What was confirmed ? Lucas has said that Windu is among the best so saying Yoda outclasses him is nonsense. Canon only.

Yoda still didn't make use of that advantage. He had to defend his friends and sat back and watched while Dooku used force attacks.

Yoda was also ko'd by his force lightning. Yoda was also disarmed by his force lightning. Windu disarmed and reflected the lightning back scarring Sheev for all time. Windu did what Yoda could not. Unlucky for Windu Anakin interfered.

Mace isn't as powerful as Dooku either, and are people still subscribing to the notion that Palpatine's face was scarred by the Lightning?
