Do two medium level captains have a chance against one of the strongest?

aizen is too strong for them even during the ss arc

We have no indication of how strong he was back then, but his shikai alone should effectively make him the victor.

The only real indication is that he could stop an enraged (albeit tired and beat up) bankai Ichigio's tensa zangetsu with a single finger. Oh and he took out Hitsugaya in like a second. And 100 years earlier he demonstrated supreme skill in kido against Tessai.

Aizen's shikai would be a problem, but Gin knows its weakness. What if Gin grabs the sword, Byakuya uses a restrictive kido spell, and Gin stabs Aizen like he did later in the series?

Course, lots has to go right for that to happen. In a straight up fight with no tricks then the duo is for sure toast. Senbonzakura would be useless as Aizen is way too fast, and if Gin can't grab the sword then they both get blitzed most likely.
