I don't quite understand the issue, here.


But, my position on stuff like this is very libertarian: allow people to rent out whatever they want. As long as the buildings are in "livable conditions", it should not matter what anyone does with any of those rooms (as far as leasing goes, obviously). "Interfere with no private contracts."

Isn't this what is called "Subleasing"? Or to sublet? Let people do it...no need to interfere.
