Probably Tresina in sabers, followed slightly by Depa. Shaak's noticeably behind in sabers.

Force is clearly in Shaak's favor, and then I'm not sure about the other two.

All-out is probably about even.

Agreed, Lobi takes sabers though Shaak Ti certainly isn't "noticeably" behind. I'd put her ahead of Depa as of TFU tbh.

Shaak takes Force and probably all out, too. Feel like her style is great for a three for all....

How is she above Depa?

And Ataru/Makashi aren't "great" for a free-for-all with 3 characters, lol.

I am currently reading Shatterpoint and Windu noted during a mission that Depa's bladework out did his own

Eh, Windu's probably the most modest Jedi in canon. He says the same thing about Kenobi etc...

A comparison to Kenobi is terrible. Kenobi will always say another Jedi is his superior, he will always lower himself and say " oh I'm not that great." Windu is very straightforward and, as I said, blunt. He calls it how he sees it without any exaggeration one way or the other. If he says he thinks someone's bladework is equel to his own then he means it

Not that Kenobi is also modest and so it applies to Windu.

You never read the ROTS Novel?

Windu praises Kenobi as "The Master" of Soresu, and compares him as a swordsman to himself, implying Kenobi may be the superior swordsman.

He also says, if I'm not mistaken, Kenobi would be the best Jedi in the order to fight Grievous, a better choice than other sword masters like Shaak Ti and Depa. IIRC the reasoning was his form, even though Grievous himself feared offensive duelists not defensive.

Tresina takes sabers, Ti takes force, all out not sure.

Eh, her style remained mostly the same I think. Nothing really states she did anything amazing during her hermitage on Felucia.

I'd only put Shaak and Tresina above Depa in force power, nothing else.



Eh, her style is retrofitted for singular combat. What makes give her an advantage is her natural ability to excel in group combat, which comes from togruta heritage,

It's more or less the innate togruta ability that i mentioned above, that Sel was talking about.

Which is kind of what makes her style so good.

Ataru's weakness is leaving oneself exposed, Togrutan montrals kind of stop that from happening, when they give her a "sense analogous to touch".

And as you know, the Clone Wars Magazine attributes these montrals to allow her to "perform incredible feats in combat, like dodging blaster bolts in mid air!".

If she can dodge a wren... Blaster bolt, she can dodge a lightsaber.

Yeah, exactly. I wouldn't exactly say that she would lose solidly to Depa, much less Tresina, but IMO.

Depa and Shaak are specialist in swordplay and force power respectively, thus their area of expertise is much more focused there, while Tresina, at least in the way i understand it, is equally skilled in both aspects, but not a complete master like Billaba and Ti.
