Janemba gets his sword, who takes it?

Going with Gohan.

Personally, I've always put Janemba a little bit above Super Boo... And obviously Mystic Gohan was a lot stronger than Super Boo.

- Going by the manga (only canon source), Gohan oneshots: Super Janemba was just a little stronger version of Kid Boo, got hit by Ssj3 Goku (a total fodder, compared to Chou Gohan) and got his ass manhandled by Ssj Gogeta, while Gohan proved to be far more powerful than even Ssj3 Gotenks.
Gohan wipes him out with one blast.

- Going by Toei's logic (since this is a Toei movie), Gohan dies horribly: indeed, in Toei's world Goku is undoubtly the strongest, still Super Janemba managed to overpower even his Ssj3 version and it took freakin' Ssj Gogeta (a fusion of the two main characters) in order to beat him.
Super Janemba tortures Gohan in hell for eternity.

SSJ3 Goku was about equal to SSJ1 Gotenks. Gotenks had to go SSJ3 to match Super Buu. Meaning Super Buu was AT LEAST 8x stronger than SSJ3 Goku.

At the time he first made that statement, he certainly wasn't thinking that the boys would be able to reach a level beyond SSJ1 after fusing... He was only factoring-in their base and SSJ forms.

This implies that SSJ1 Gotenks ~/> SSJ3 Goku.

Nope.

SSJ3 Goku managed to survive a short round vs Buutenks in the anime, but it was all about not dying.

The fact that Goku --a guy who loves fighting powerful opponents more than anything else in life-- didn't even want to try and fight Super Boo speaks for itself.

I honestly feel Demon Janemba is substantially beyond SSJ3 Goku

He smacked Goku out of SSJ3 with indirect hits from his sword beams and Janemba only truly powered up in the end when Gogeta showed up
