I guess the Hungarians have a clue, build a wall, problem solved.

Liberals need to wake up.

That's from a month and a half ago. The news for Hungary has moved on a long way since then- the barrier fence totally failed.

Not only it totally failed, it failed so hard that it inspired TI to make a post out of it biscuits

Yes... fences, are not a good or smart thing to put up with countries you actually trade with often! Nor particularly effective.

And of course messing with or crossing the fence (like, for anyone) gets you sent to their already overfilled court system to bog it down with pointless cases....

Boardfence fail

"One group of migrants, including women and children, crawled under it Wednesday, using blankets, sleeping bags, jackets and a stick to raise the wire. As a police car approached, they dashed through a field."

In order to get effect, you need, like, armed guards and watch people across a long area. At which point you're spending tremendous amounts of money to effectively militarize against civilians, something sure to cause all kinds of other problems... and even then isn't entirely effective, there's a good number of ways around.

It's an expensive way to try and *partially* keep out a problem that should be fixed- i.e. helping people- not pushed away.

Slay
Funny that you'd make this thread on the actual day the situation in Hungary completely escalates into chaos.

Look guys, this is not rocket science, we have had fences before and they worked well enough. Sure you need armed guards, sure you need an excessive intelligence agency mostly aimed at your own people, complete lack of personal privacy, but it's worth it. And yes, if we can do it, maybe even the United States can be as glorious as the best example of a well fenced country in history...the German Democratic Republic.

Whatever happened to that anyways?

Worked out great!

Well, compared to the other fenced-in countries, at least. Comparatively speaking.

Pfft. Your lot's poor excuse for a fence. Useless. Get advice from the Koreans. Mines, heavy weapons, proper good shit.

Hahaha, great post, although that would cause a shit storm of hate.

A large wall would stop the leek.

I would think a good idea would be to send some of our highly trained and efficient military teams down to Syria and send those Isis Shitebags to HELL where they belong.

But why bother. They can't be stopped and those rich socialist euro-countries can handle the influx of highly valued legal immigrants.

Neither would your imaginary super anti-Mexico wall. It would be built by the lowest bidder and the laborers would largely be Mexicans.

I am happy Europe is getting all those legal immigrants, I hope it helps them the way it helps America.

In fact, they all want to go to Germany, I say let them go.

So you have no real input but you felt like replying anyway.
