Who wins?

Team Natsu. At least unless the Thundergod tribe has really leveled up.

Natsu's now on a level where he can at least fight Laxus fairly well, I think. Erza's magic-cutting form should make short work of Freed's runes (and even baring that, should just raw outpower him), and slayer Grey should beat Bickslow.

Lucy vs Evergreen is probably the best fight, but with Loke's light powers to blind her and the new celestial forms, Lucy's in that fight.

So basically I think what'd happen is Natsu and Lucy would keep their foes busy, Erza and Grey beat theirs, and then win from there.

I'd put Laxus a comfortable step above Natsu. He effectively one shot a demon and overpowered the sand spriggan

He may be a step higher, but even so it's not enough to win, Natsu's been doing quite well recently himself.


With Freed and Bickslow definitely going down hard, even if Laxus wins, he'll be beat up and tired vs the rest of his foes.

Ezra got destroyed by Laxus in there only fight and she was wearing armor specifically made to fight him. Not to mention Freed has shown his rune magic can block other forms of magic or even force the team to wait it out while the thunder tribe can gang up on an opponent.

....? No he didn't, they fought for a bit with neither harming the other, then she left when Natsu showed up to Laxus's annoyance because he thought Erza'd be a good fight.

Then she blew up the thunder palace thingy and was hurt by that.




If he can set it up, sure, but nowadays Erza has the ability to simply cut through that, and everyone's more familiar with his tricks.

And remember, Mirajane pwned him.

He set up his barrier pretty quick at the beginning of the Island arc. Freed also showed anti-magic runes.

Well I think the Anime gave us our answer.

Near-death Laxus>Awakened Tempster>>>Dragon Force Natsu >> "Human" Tempster > Base Natsu.

Dragon Force Natsu wrecked Mard Geer. He's certainly not below Tempster dude lol.

Even if you took the power up as permanent, Laxus also had to save Natsu from that Sand wizard. Again though, we saw a near death Laxus completely destroy a guy Natsu in his Dragonforce mode was pushed back by.

I don't. No Dragonforce is permanent, save for Sting and Rogue's.

Still, Natsu one shot a war god and is currently about to fight Zeref after defeating nearly 1000 men.
