I don't think Sidious would instantly TK Dooku like he did Maul Mid-Saber fight. Especially not in an up close and tight quarters duel.

I would say he stops at Dooku however if he doesn't he stops at Krayt.

I'm pretty sure his force defenses weren't up at the time being as he was in his own palace and Sidious was a long way away so he most likely didn't feel the need to have defenses up.

He stalemates at Dooku and this where personal opinion comes into play.

Yeah because Sabers weren't involved. Obviously the more powerful force user will over power the less powerful force user in that situation.

Force Pushes/Slams can be lethal mid-combatl. Savage beat Adi after force slamming her.

But that doesn't mean he could have just instantly TK Owned her any second he felt like it during the fight. However Sidious clearly could do to Maul.

Where is this "mid-saber combat-telekinesis" concept you're referencing coming from, DP? To my knowledge having a lightsaber in your hand doesn't increase your defence to telekinesis. Maybe Filoni stated that it does, I'm couldn't say.

Well for one in that scenario your opponent is fighting back, and presumably has his guard up.

And Second, you're multi-tasking. Deflecting Saber blows, whilst applying TK.

Dooku vs Ventress is actually a decent example. He could Force Choke her, once the opportunity presented itself Mid-Saber battle. You think it would have taken him that long to do so had she not been engaging him with her Saber. Nah.

There's a reason why Saber fights are still the Primary form of Combat between Jedi and Sith.

But basically we're comparing Mace vs Dooku in the Force. Then asking why Mace didn't get Force stomped by Sidous, whilst Dooku did.

My answer is because it's harder to force stomp someone in a close quarters saber battle, than it is over a hologram where the inferior force user has no other way to defend.

Dooku or Krayt.
