Who?

Well...I'd give it to the fantasy guys. The reason being they actually train and fight with swords. Doesn't matter that a Jian(Li Mu Bai), a Xyphos(or some other short sword for Achilles), and a...whatever Blade's sword is, the fact is they use swords.

Lightsabers have practically no weight, as the blade is energy. You're basically swinging a hot sword hilt. So fighting with a real sword would throw the balance they've spent a lifetime honing with a saber right off. Plus their speed would be affected as well, considering swords are quite a bit heavier than a saber's hilt made of super light space age plastics and metal alloys.

The Force users have swords the exact same weight and balance as a lightsabre, everyones blade is of equal strength, the jedi can wield their weapons like they could if they were sabres, the weight of the weapon is no issue at all.

Well in that case, this gets more interesting.

Blade is without a doubt, the most dangerous person here. Fodder opponents in his universe were casual bullet dodgers, and he was the only guy powerful enough to fight basically the three most powerful vampires the world had ever known. And the only reason he couldn't beat them was because they all had haxx powers.

Haven't seen CTHD in years, but iirc Li was pretty monstrous, like the best warrior in all of China.

And while Achilles didn't fight many top level guys, he was just good at it.

Basically fantasy team have more advantages going for them.

If we're to believe the lines in ROTS... it's clear that Mace would be the fastest person here by far. Think about it... When Anakin (somebody with super enhanced perception himself.. along with fast reflexes to boot) was unable to even perceive Mace vs. Sids' fight. It only looked like a black mist to him they were moving so fast. If mace moves so fast to appear like that to somebody with Anakin's abilities and perception... Suffice to say he's faster than anybody here.. and by a decent margin

Spoken words by Anakin during the RotS movie? I don't remember that.

No TK, but what about Force perception? If the Force users can through the Force know what is coming during at least some moments of the fight, that may be enough. Speed-wise, Blade would at least be near what it takes to keep up, but clairvoyance in knowing what is to come would more than nullify speed, stamina, and overall knowledge of swordplay.

So perception or no?
