In skill or just overall stealthiness? Cause Invisible woman can be invisible but shes probably noisy as **** and you can smell her vag from a mile away.

Batman - for actually sneaking up on Superman, and only failing against Krypto (with enhanced senses).
Wolvy, for the Enemy of the State showings and general ninja skills
MM for his powers - although, interestingly, Martians still need to breathe, and so can be detected that way. Otherwise, he'd be top.
Daredevil - like Wolvy, but less skilled.
Nightwing - like Bats, but less so.
Catwoman - a thief, less reliance on gadgets than the Bats, which is both a strength and a weakness.
DS - can't really see him as being stealthy
Cap - Same, only in red, white and blue. I'm sure he has stealth showings in other suits, so interchange him if you wish.
Nightcrawler - he's accompanied by a BAMF noise, and the smell of sulphur. Not exactly stealthy.

Nightcrawler also turns invisible in shadow, unless thats been retconned...

DS's list is solid, with the caveat that MM can get into some places unseen that the rest couldn't because of the nature of his powers. In terms of stealth skill, sure, he's further down the list. But there are places he could simply phase into that Batman on his best day would struggle to breach stealthily.

I tried to throw a mix of power, tech and skill in there to see how everyone viewed things.

IMHO it's :
1) Martian Manhunter (phasing, shapeshifting, and TP) they'll never see him unless he wants to be seen
2) Invisible Woman (invisibility and force fields) they'll never see her or smell her if she bubbles herself. They'll never hear her either if she rides her force constructs instead of walks on the ground.
3) Nightcrawler (invisibility in shadows and wall crawling). He doesn't even need to use his teleporting power.

Granted, Nightcrawler goes invisible in shadow. But he still makes noise, smells, and has body heat. Not to mention X-rays etc.

The level of PIS surrounding street levelers, especially Batman, is legendary (he bloodied an Aspect of God with a kick for phucks sake). So it doesn't sway me at all.

My ranking was based on them being in a PIS/CISless environment.

Theoretically, shouldn't Nightcrawler be > Batman

Can't believe the black suited Spider-Man was left off your list, riv. I would say he's more stealthy than at least a few listed. AT least when he isn't shooting webs he is.

The Spectre allowed him to do it, to let him feel better. Obv he is so powerful, if he wants blood to flow to really sell an illusion, he can. Nothing more, nothing less. It's not exactly applicable for Batman as a combat feat.

once again, some ppl just like to shit all over Batman and discount his feats, it isn't PIS if he does has these stealth feats all the time, is it PIS when Superman lifts something really heavy? no its not, he's done it so many times that its just a regular part of the character.

Wolverine and Batman are the best.

Since Bruce's feats have already been posted, I'll list a few of Wolverine:

- sneaking up on Extremis Iron Man, who was able to detect Strange's astral form
- sneaking up on Vanisher
- vanishing in front of Nightcrawler, Kurt never even blinked
- vanishing while in a plane with Psylocke who was after her Ogun training
- laughing off Fantastic Four security systems, getting in without triggering a single alarm
- sneaking up on a deer... successfully... unlike that time when Shaman's student scared the deer

When he disappeared from in front of Psylocke, he also got off that plane whilst surrounded by soldiers, right?

Wolverine ninja' vanishes from Psylocke, while inside the cockpit of the Blackbird, without her noticing. Presumably he also makes it off the Blackbird without being seen by the Japanese military who are surrounding it.

I swear these characters travel between panels, like She-Hk used to under Byrne.
