Maul takes them to school, then gives them a good old-fashioned whipping.

Team for both. Plo Koon by himself is enough to challenge Maul. Having Ahsoka fill in a support role would eventually weather Maul down.

It technically doesn't fit into the Pre-Disney Canon material. But it should be noted that both Dave Filoni and Katie Lucas contributed to Sith Hunters- The comic where Savage fought Plo, and Maul choked Kenobi.
