i always hear people saying there are areas in europe that have been abandoned by the local police and ceded to local muslim gangs... then i hear other people say it is a myth invented by fox news.

the closest i've come to some confirmation of the concept is this:

which alleges that a police report in sweden details the ceding of control of certain areas to muslim gangs.

if it's an actual police report that would seem like a somewhat reputable source. but i don't speak swedish.

i know there are europeans on the board... any insight?
