The Jedi Quest books were cool, IMO.

Well-written TCW-era adventures would be better, but this is nice.

Still waiting for a Dooku/Qui-Gon adventure decades before TPM, though.

I'm looking forward to this. I loved Jedi Quest as a kid, and I'd like to see a more "adult" version of this storyline

Why? Frankly this is much more exiting as we have far less material during this time period then during TCW. Even in Legends there wasn't much stuff here.

Yeah, I'd like to know why AtoC Anakin is supposedly so powerful besides the fact that he cut down a few droids as a teenager.

This should be interesting. Wonder if the Disney Continuity is gonna have him be as whiny as he was between TPM and AOTC in the Legends Continuity.

Nice to see Disney isn't avoiding the Prequel era aside from developing unfinished TCW material.

Because the adventures of barely-pubescent Anakin and hippie Kenobi are far less attractive than the battlefield stories of veteran war-heroes Anakin and Kenobi.

We've already had those. Several years of them in fact. Not to mention all the stories from the EU such as LoE.

This, by contrast, is something rarely done and fairly unique.

This sounds awful. Man, they are really going to run this into the ground. I had enough of nerdy, whiny teenager Anakin and they are going to give the public even more.

Sounds pretty awesome, more looking forward to see what they do with the rest of the era though.

No, TCW completely failed in that department; it really felt like Space Adventures with clones. I want to see more of the darkest days of their career, the skirmishes in the outer rim. LoE. Obsession. RotS. Those last 6-ish months if the war, a well-drawn comic series surrounding Kenobi and Anakin? Sounds good to me.

Ah I see, that would be good to see. Who knows though, I'm sure this series will have tie ins. It's obvious they want to do something different though rather than the tried and tested, seems only fair to give them a chance.

Seems like a promising series so far.

PRE AOTC Anakin could apparently hold his own against a TPM Darth Maul hologram, and him and Kenobi stopped a massive Airship from crashing into them on a cliffside.

Well it is written by Soule so I expected it to be good.

And that art is sexy.

Surprisingly good comic. I enjoyed it a lot.

Was pretty good, I also like how they incorporated Anakin's tech genius into his training via the Jedi training droid he modified.

Can't say I'm that excited. Just not too interested in the TPM-AOCT timeframe. On the other hand, it will hopefully add some interesting new content to explore .
