All of his other techniques are available. The only thing he doesn't have is the kamehameha. Anime fts for Roshi are allowed here.

I think he stops at Wolverine, hf and adamantium are a deadly surprise.

Any woman can beat Roshi. He's too much of a perv to do anything but stare and maybe grope

Master Roshi is pretty damn fast. He was able to catch machine gun bullets like it was nothing.

Roshi has also displayed some crazy techniques in the World Martial Arts Tournament. He also had a pretty beast showing in RoF.

He does make sense. It doesn't matter how uber you are - Roshi still could hurt himself while striking adamantium bones and the nigh-instant recovery can indeed be a "deadly surprise".

Was the audience able to see him and Goku move at that time?

RoF Roshi (we still need to see him in DBS, so non-canon for now) was an entirely different beast. Superior to Chiaotzu or even Yamcha. He could solo them all.
