Black Canary. She is a beast in h2h in DC. Able to give Cass Cain, Bronze Tiger, Batman a good fight.

Natasha is pretty great herself. While probably not purely hth feats, she did beat Wonder Man and X-Force. Fought Spider-Man. Stalemated Elektra, stalemated the Punisher... she actually performed better than other Avengers - including a certain god of thunder - against Frank

She performed better against Daredevil than Cap, Beast and Hercules, too...

What I'm saying is, she's pretty damn underrated. Sure, you might be right about BC winning here - but it definitely won't be easy, as Widow is far from being a pushover. She's actually a female Captain America, quite literally, considering she's been given a Red Room variant of the Super Soldier Serum.

she is absolutely underrated. she actually has some pretty crazy damage soak. she's also just flat out meaner. i'd take tasha for a very slight majority, even though i'd rank bc slightly above her in terms of h2h skills.

Her agility and acrobatic stunts in general are pretty insane, too. Bouncing off the walls and all that.

She's quicker than the Punisher and Frank has impressed Wolverine with his reaction speed.

Think BW was actually injured before that fight, too. So she was not at her peak. Need to double-check, though.

If you read the comic, neither really wanted to hurt the other. Elektra was there to give Natasha a warning.

Anyway I'd wager pre-New 52 Canary would win.

Yeah Natasha was missing an organ and junk, but they didn't continue fighting once their conversation turned. I wouldn't call that a stalemate, I'd call that an interrupted altercation in which neither party was even significantly injured.

This was also happening in Black Widow's own series in an early issue, and I always thought it looked like Elektra was jobbing to Natasha for story purposes. I've never seen Widow compete with other h2h fighters like Elektra has, or perform physical feats in Elektra's range. Didn't Bucky throw her down? lol
