-Battle takes place on Mogo.
-Hal starts each Round at 100%.

Who wins?

I thought the power gauntlet was a disadvantage.

Galan007
Not at all.

The Gauntlet is FAR more powerful than a GL ring. But because it's interface isn't as smooth as a ring's, it requires a gargantuan amount of willpower to control--especially for an extended period of time:

If you lack sufficient willpower, this is what happens if you try to use the Gauntlet:

Kilowog noted that the Gauntlet was the most lethal weapon in the GLC's evidence vault:

Guy stated that the power he felt from the Gauntlet was akin to "a dozen" GL rings:

Also note that it draws power directly from the Central Battery/Ion Entity.

Immediately after acquiring the Gauntlet and running the train on multiple Lanterns, Hal used it's energies to overcome Mogo's immense gravity well:

Mogo: "I was unable to place in custody due to an... Immense surge of spectrum energy."

And if you recall, Mogo used the same tactic to kill the entire Black Lantern horde:

...His gravitational field is ridiculously haxx. Hal /w/ Gauntlet beat it.

Zack M
Damn. This is a tough one.

As vs. threads should be... thumb up

Bump, because I wanted to include this feat here...

It also looks like Hal /w/ Gauntlet will face off against ZH Parallax at some point in the near future... I am eagerly awaiting that. big grin

Are we sure it was because of the Gauntlet he was able to that? The Gauntlet might have played a part yes, but until we know for sure, i think we should wait until were absolutely sure that the Gauntlet was the sole reason. For all we know, Hal might have gotten a secondary power up.

Like remnants of his New God power up?

This means LA #6 takes place in between GL #46-47... And neither of those issues mentioned Hal receiving any sort of power-up, nor did the plot allude to such. Now, I suppose it's possible that future issues of LA could make some sort of retroactive retcon, and have Hal inextricably gain a power-up... But as of now, there is no reason at all to assume he was amped.

Like remnants of his New God power up? The current GL series is a complete standalone. Darkseid War doesn't tie-into it at all.

/sigh erm This is the same guy who made Nekron his b*tch. Twice. The same guy whose will power was stated to be an even greater reservoir than the GL Central Battery. The same guy whose will power was shown to be an echo of the first spark of existence--the light of creation.

That said, warping the Source Wall should be well within his scope. stick out tongue

Khazra Reborn
Yat should be no problem... Don't know about Kyle though, I don't remember his Ion 2 feats very well.

Kyle > Hal > Yat

"Id"
Gaining Ion, is the equivalent of internalizing a power ring and battery plus more. With Ion you can tap into the Central Battery directly.

I seem to remember 2 encounters.

I seem to remember 2 encounters. It was the same fight. It just took place across 2 issues. Kyle won in the end, but Donna ran interference for him a few times.

Yea, that sounds right thumb up

I need to dl some comics again.

When Nero's qwardian ring was set to self-destruct in an attempt to assassinate the guardians, he contained it in a space warp. Containing a self-destructing ring meant to kill the guardians has got to be a lot of power.

When fighting Grayven, son of Darkseid, he didn't really give proper attention to the fight (Kyle held a phone call mid-fight...), but when he got somewhat annoyed, a small moon blew up.
