With The Force Awakens getting its own canon Incredible Cross Sections, doesn't that legitimize the other ICSes? Afterall I doubt Disney is going to go through and release a new one for each movie.

Old ICSs are Legends, new ICSs are newcanon.

It seems only the TFA ICS will be canon.

Because ICS were just supplemental info to the movies.

Seeing as not even the novelisations are strictly canon, I doubt it, I don't think Disney wants to be tied down by any of the old material, that said as far as the technical info in those guides is concerned, they are pretty much being recanonised.
